We are a Church maintaining the Traditional Anglican Faith, rooted in the traditions of the Church of England, as reflected in the 1928 Book of Common Prayer (American edition), and its form of worship. We maintain that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God and that our interpretation of it is in a manner consistent with the first seven Ecumenical Councils and the Three Creeds of the undivided Church: The Apostle’s Creed, The Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed. We use the King James Version of the Bible including the Apocrypha. The Apocrypha is used only for its history and wisdom, and not to base any doctrine, or belief, upon it.
We believe that no one is beyond salvation and that Christ has paid the price for all our sins upon the Cross of Calvary. We believe that Christ has ordained two sacraments as necessary for salvation, The Eucharist and Holy Baptism. He has also provided the sacraments of Confirmation, Holy Matrimony, Penance, Unction of the Sick, and Holy Orders as additional methods and means receiving His grace and for our protection and well-being.
We believe that we have a Christian duty to learn the depths of the Christian Faith and how that faith is to be lived out in our daily lives. We also recognize the beauty of a liturgical worship setting and that the form of our prayers has an influence on our faith. We recognize the gifts which the Holy Ghost has given to all people and we seek to help them use those gifts to help God spread the Gospel, build His Church, and to help our fellow man.
We, the followers of Jesus Christ and called by the name of Christian, recognize that the Great Commission that our Lord gave to His Apostles is just as binding today upon us as it was when our Lord spoke it. We therefore seek to become “fishers of men” both corporately and individually.
May The Holy Ghost grant us the gifts of the Spirit so that we may attain these goals and build His Church, which is His people.
